As a child, I was fascinated by dolls’ clothing. I know some keep this hobby for life — and I’m jealous of the free time they have! — but I didn’t get to the collecting phase. Still, the passion for beautiful things was fostered and preserved. Somehow imperceptibly, I switched to finding unique clothing for babies and toddlers for my friends and family. I did not plan to become an expert in this matter; it came naturally and not immediately.

After several experiments in adult clothing retail and collaboration with some famous designers, I realized that this niche is very limited and would not be interesting for me for a long time.

Luckily, I did not have to search for inspiration and new ideas for a long time. All young mothers I know constantly complained about not finding anything worthwhile in stores, and more or less decent things were often at exorbitant prices. By that time, I practically didn’t shop in local stores but ordered almost everything in the US or Europe, and sometimes I even had to shop in New Zealand:) Realizing that the quality is better there at, surprisingly, lower prices, I decided to help pick up and bring this beauty to my friends and acquaintances.

Today PublicKids is a team. We are all fascinated by the children’s fashion industry! We are looking for new names and brands, unique collections, get acquainted with designers. We tell the most exciting stories and show the best picks. I’m sure you’ll find a perfect match just for you here.
